Our DJ staff believes in teamwork, by working collectively with your:

As your Master of Ceremonies, we can ensure that all the sequences of your event flow smoothly. We will provide you with a reception event planner to organize all the sequences of events.

TYPICAL RECEPTION ITINERARY

The following is a sample reception itinerary which you can use as a guideline when planning your once-in-a-lifetime event.


HORS D’OEUVRES
Gives guests time to arrive while photographer finishes at the wedding ceremony location

INTRODUCTION OF BRIDAL PARTY
Announce the arrival of the bridal party leading up to fanfare and welcoming the Bride & Groom to their Reception

TOAST
Best Man (or person of choice, may also be done after meal)

DINNER (or Buffet)
Since Bride & Groom are first to be served, after their meal is a good time to go visit tables and hand out favors

Wedding Couple Dancing

FIRST DANCE
Introduction “Ladies & Gentlemen, would you please welcome to the dance floor, dancing for the first time as Husband & Wife, a round of applause for “John & Heather” (or Mr. & Mrs. John & Heather Anderson)

PARENTS DANCE
Invite parents to join the couple on the dance floor

BRIDAL PARTY DANCE
Invite Bridal Party to join

OPEN FLOOR DANCING

Wedding Guests Line Dancing

CAKE CUTTING
After 30 to 45 minutes of dancing, invite all guests to view cake cutting

BOUQUET TOSS
While cake is being served, invite all single ladies to participate in bouquet toss

GARTER THROW
Invite all single men to participate in garter throw

OPEN FLOOR DANCING

FAREWELL / FRIENDSHIP / LAST DANCE
Couple is invited to dance floor while guests form circle around them. Group hugs usually occur.
